Conventional antiperspirants and deodorants are loaded with potentially harmful chemicals. At SWAY, our goal is to help you detox from all these unnecessary chemicals and smoothly transition to a natural alternative that works. We achieve that through the processes of purifying, exfoliating, and pH balancing your underarms with our unique formula.
Our roll-on deodorant works wonders by itself. The dusting powder is for added freshness and dryness. We do recommend using them together. But we believe this application system is a great way for people with sensitivity to baking soda to also enjoy our deodorant.
STEP 1 - SWAY Underarm Detox Deodorant
Shake bottle gently with cap on. Apply 2 to 3 swirls to each clean, dry underarm and let dry to at least 80%.
STEP 2 - SWAY Underarm Dusting Powder
Shake jar well, pop lid off, and dab a thin layer onto each underarm with the built-in puff.

A little goes a long way. You only need 2 to 3 swirls of the deodorant under each arm. With the dusting powder, a thin layer is all you need. You should barely see any powder on your underarms.
Everyone is different. But we recommend in the beginning, start by applying SWAY morning and night for at least ten days. You may then gradually reduce application to once a day or as needed.
The best time to apply SWAY is after shower, on clean and dry underarms. One tip is to incorporate it into your daily tooth-brushing routine. For example, start by applying the roll-on then go about your regular routine. When you finish, your deodorant will be dry and you can then dab on the dusting powder.
In regular deodorants, once it is washed off, you’ll have to re-apply. But with SWAY, bathing, workouts, or water won’t affect the effectiveness. In fact, you might experience less dependency on it over time.
Everyone is different. You might go through a “detox” period when you will experience more sweating and odor than usual. This might happen especially after years of having your sweat glands blocked by chemicals such as aluminum and your body might take additional time to adjust to normal, healthy sweating. While it can take some people up to two weeks to “detox” before SWAY reaches optimum effectiveness, many people are able to make the switch instantly and successfully. But it is important not to supplement SWAY with antiperspirant or other deodorant during this time, as it will defeat the purpose of detox and can result in irritation.
Our products generally last approximately 3 months when used every day.
Lavender/lemon for women’s and West Indian sandalwood/clary sage for men’s. Since SWAY neutralizes odor instead of masking it, its scent will dissipate throughout the day and is subtle enough such that it is compatible with your favorite fragrance.
The only difference between our women’s and men’s deodorants are the scents. Both have the same effective formula. According to an article by Huffington Post, deodorant for men or for women is “most likely little more than a marketing ploy”. Discovery Health reported “in at least one brand, the same active ingredient is present in the same amounts in the sticks for men and women. It’s only packaging and fragrance that differ.”
So far, only aluminum can block our pores to prevent the normal and healthy process of sweating. However, our formula does contain natural ingredients that help with excessive sweating and plant powders to absorb wetness.
No. The “yellowing phenomenon” – researchers don’t know why deodorants cause yellow stains on our clothes. The dominant theory is that the aluminum somehow react with sweat or skin or shirts or laundry detergent or all of the above to make that foul stain. SWAY contains no aluminum, so definitely no yellow stain! And because SWAY is water-based, you also don’t need to worry about any wax, oil or grease (present in most deodorant sticks and pastes) from getting into your clothing’s fibers.
Absolutely not. Our formula is 100% free of aluminum, parabens, propylene-glycol, phthalates, and artificial fragrance.
Yes. SWAY is gluten-free.
Yes and yes. SWAY has only been tested on humans.
Our roll-on deodorant does not contain any baking soda at all. Our dusting powder does contain baking soda but the amount you need is so small that some users with a history of baking soda sensitivity have reported no issues using our dusting powder. While our dusting powder provides added freshness and dryness, the roll-on alone will work wonders so you can skip the powder if you have a baking soda allergy. And the good news is that our deodorant and dusting powder can be purchased separately.
Please be aware of any skin allergies you may have before using our products. If you have a history of sensitivities or allergies, perform a skin test first. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please consult your physician before using any products containing essential oils. SWAY contains only natural preservatives and has been professionally lab-tested for shelf life. We recommend SWAY to be used within three months of opening and opened within twelve months of purchase. To optimize shelf life, store SWAY with the cap on tight away from sunlight and heat.
SHIPPING
All orders are shipped by USPS, and you will receive a shipping confirmation and tracking number once it ships. Within the United States, your package will arrive 3-7 days after shipping. If you choose expedited shipping, your package will arrive two business days after it is shipped, but it is not guaranteed.
We ship out all orders within one to two business days.
Most of our packages arrive within 3-7 business days of being shipped, but occasionally USPS slows things down and it can take a couple of weeks. If your package has not arrived by two weeks from your ship date, please contact us.
Please be aware that shipping to international addresses may result in your shipment being delayed in customs, etc. Depending on your country's customs process, international packages can arrive within anywhere from 1-12 weeks.
Orders that are shipped to countries outside the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs tariffs, and fees levied by the destination country or the shipping company. These charges are the customer’s responsibility and will be billed by the delivery company. We have no control over these charges and are unable to estimate them. Tariffs and taxes are neither collected nor included in your price calculation at the time of your order; for an estimate of these fees, which vary by region, contact the customs office in your area.
SUBSCRIPTIONS
A subscription to SWAY allows you to receive our product at a frequency that you choose. This way, you never run out of SWAY and at the same time, enjoy 10% off the regular price.
Please note that you are never obligated to subscribe to SWAY when making a purchase. You can purchase our products individually or opt-in and subscribe. By default, you are not subscribed to SWAY. In order to subscribe, simply check the “SUBSCRIBE & SAVE 10%” checkbox on the PRODUCT page as you shop. You will be billed once during each delivery cycle.
Once you have subscribed, you will be in complete control of your subscription. You can effortlessly manage what you receive, when it arrives and the way you pay at any time simply by logging into your account. In addition, you can update your address, cancel your subscription, or skip a shipment. We’ll also alert you before each delivery or if there are any problems with your account, making it easy for you to keep track of your subscriptions.
REFUND POLICY
Yes, we do, with the exception of our custom body oil products. We accept returns of your first order of SWAY within 30 days of delivery. If you would like to create a return, please send an email to info@lovemysway.com. We will send you a form to fill out and a prepaid shipping label. Your order will be refunded less the original shipping cost upon receipt at our headquarters.
Please note that we’re not able to accept returns or exchanges for our custom body oil orders and orders shipped internationally.
